Town Hall in Peachtree City for 04/26/2025 CANCELLED

The 3rd Congressional District of the Democratic Party of Georgia has cancelled the town hall shceduled for this Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2 p.m. for which we invited Congressman Brian Jack to participate. 

​

We went through all the proper channels to schedule the use of the McIntosh High School gymnasium; however, after setting up all the logistics, we were informed that Congressman Jack's camp felt that it would be an embarrassment to him showing up for the town hall and approached members of the Fayette County Board of Education. The event was mischaracterized to the Board as a "rally". They did not allow us to move forward with the event.

Collectively, 13 counties within the 3rd Congressional District of the Democratic Party of Georgia are actively reworking and calibrating to announce a new date for the event. Stay tuned.
