CCDP Committees
The purpose of the Event Planning Committee is to organize and execute key events designed to drive engagement and fundraising. The Committee establishes a calendar of important dates of events based on previous year calendar including fundraisers, parad participation, programs, etc.
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for generating financial support for CCDP while overseeing fundraising activities, such as the Annual Fundraising Dinner.
The Membership Committee focuses on growing and maintaining the membership base. They work to build and inclusive and active membership, ensuring diverse voices are represented and engaged in local Democratic initiatives.
This committee manages the Party's branding, messaging, and public relations efforts. This committee designs and produces communications, including event graphics, newsletters and digital content. It oversees digital platforms such as the Party's website and social media.
Voter Engagement is dedicated to mobilizing voters, enhancing voter turnout and ensuring that the community is informed and engaged in the political process. They organize voter registration drives, canvassing, phone and text banking, and other grassroots activities to strengthen Democratic voter turnout.
This committee establishes what races are being run for the year then identifies, recruits, and supports Democratic candidates for all local and down-ballot races. They also ensure that there is a Democratic candidate running in every relevant race to strengthen the Party's presence.
