Coweta County Democratic Party

Coweta County Democratic Party is the official county organization of the Georgia Democratic Party, comprised of registered Democratic voters living in Coweta County.

The voting members of the Coweta County Democratic Party consist of Committee Members who represent each of the five County Commission Districts. Elected to four year terms, Committee Members are elected per the bylaws of the Democratic Party of Georgia and Coweta County Democrats. They are elected every two years during Committee business meetings. They represent the Coweta County Democratic Party members in their districts and vote on such matters as the budget, election of Officers and State Committee Members.

Members of the CCDP work to engage voters in Coweta County through increased voter registration and get-out-the-vote activities. Fundraising not only supports voter engagement but is also used to help elect leaders who support our priorities and who can fight to change the right-wing power structure in Georgia.

Now more than ever we encourage community members to join us in our efforts and participate in local initiates. We need you with us to do this important work. Together we can turn Coweta (and Georgia) BLUE!
